In late 2012 former bass player, Dan Volj & guitar player, François Bruneau from Canadian band THE BOX decided to form an original ”rock band” with 2 other long-time ”musician/buddies”: drummer Max Lalanne & guitar player Martin Bachand.
Dan Volj began writing songs and so, between their freelance contracts & gigs with various artists, they would get together, play in local bars, trying out their material and some cover versions … just for fun !
Soon after, ATOH started doing gigs & opening up for THE BOX, while building a following from those shows, the members decided it was time to record their original songs.
Why ATOH ???
ATOH is in fact, ”A Taste Of Honey”, a cover song by The Beatles recorded in the 60’s that influenced the band name.
In the month of DECEMBER 2015, ATOH will release a brand new EP that will be followed by their first full-lenght album in 2016 !!!
